The 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 will be powered by a supercharged V8 5.2-liter engine, providing an extra 40 horsepower for muscle car lovers. This model is reported to run on 93-octane gas pump coupled with intercooler, advanced heat exchanger and even a smaller supercharger pulley. With its ability to sprint from zero to 60 mph in a remarkable 3.6 secs, this GT500 is going to be one of the fastest muscle cars of all time.
Unlike the standard GT500 we are used to, this particular edition will be sitting a bit lower, with newly fitted rear and front anti-rolls bars and springs. For its extra power, the company has fitted a more powerful axle shafts to handle such burden comfortably.

There is no way we won’t talk about its aggressive look. After all, we don’t expect any muscle car to look timid. This 2020 Mustang GT500SE looks quite a beast especially with its lighter vented carbon-fiber hood. The choice of this material might be a bit costlier than regular vented hood on regular version, but it offers 30-pound less weight.
The carmaker has also made available carbon fiber package and widebody kit for Shelby. The 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500SE is expected to ride on a 20-inch aluminum wheels (Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires), with optional sticky Cup 2 tires.

For its inside design, the new updated and limited model offers seats with the iconic signature of Carroll Shelby stitched to its back.
Pricing
Surprisingly, this new Signature Edition isn’t as expensive as we thought considering the amount of insane road power it will offer. It will go for a retail price of $101,490, with additional $29,995 for upgrades. The potential owners will be granted memberships to the Team Shelby club, while the gains from its sales will be donated to Carroll Shelby Foundation.
