We have never doubted the outstanding job and pedigree of Mercedes-Benz brand when it comes to production of solid performance vehicles. Be it sedan, SUV or even their vans. The German automaker at the beginning of 2020 introduced a base CLS model with a small 4-cylinder 1.5-liter engine. Now, Mercedes-Benz is coming up with a more powerful variant of the G-Wagon with a 4-pot 2.0-liter engine.
The new model dubbed Mercedes-Benz G350 is expected to feature a well-packed 1,991 cc unit of gasoline with a generative output of 255 horsepower and 273 pound feet of torque, paired with 9-speed automatic transmission and a 4-wheel drivetrain. The new 2021 model can sprint from zero to 62 mph in 8.1 secs and a maximum speed of 190 km/h.
When it comes to the market price of this exotic Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon, the automaker has given us a hint, which should be something around $208,000 for its entry-level.
I believe we should be expecting extra performance package and higher variants. Of course, we know it will come at extra cost, which will definitely worth it.
From what we gathered, the 2021 Mercedes-Benz G350 might be limited only to China for now, with exciting features to lookout for such as 18-inch wheels (265/60 tires), LED headlights, MBUX infotainment system, rear privacy glass, 3-zone climate control, wood trim, power adjustable front seats with heating and memory functions, Burmester premium sound system, ambient lighting and lots more.
