Torus, a company based in Czech, is the producer of this super tough minivan. During its unveiling, the sole purpose was to make sure the Praetorian bus takes extremely hard routes on the planet without much stress.
This boxy school bus dubbed world’s toughest school bus features an all-wheel drivetrain, based on MAN chassis. It also rides and grips on rough terrain easily with its upgraded Michelin off-road tyres. You can either get the school bus in left hand or right hand drive.
On the inside, the school bus can easily accommodate up to 35 kids, with lots of science and mathematical formulas visible on its bespoke an durable seats.
The Torsus Praetorian is powered by a 5-cylinder 6.9-liter diesel engine with a generative output of 240 horsepower. The maximum speed is limited electronically to 117 kilometers in every hour (72 mph).
The company is yet to give the pricing information of this off-road Praetorian school bus, but the standard Praetorian is estimated to cost around $181,000 without any form of equipment in its cabin.
