In case you didn’t know, the Pullman has existed for so many years as a nameplate in the history of the German brand. The Mercedes-Benz 600 limousine was introduced in 1963 as one of the most exotic cars on the planet until its retirement in 1981. As at that time, the car was owned by business moguls, heads of states, movie celebrities and other prominent people around. The Mercedes 600 was made available in long and short wheelbase. The Limousine was hand-built and 2,677 examples were manufactured till date.

In 2017, the classic division of Mercedes Benz got an unusual request from an enthusiast, who wanted to turn the 1975 Mercedes 600 into another version – a Maybach! The project was accepted by the German automaker since the enthusiast is well loaded to fund such a rigorous project.

Its successors were the Maybach 62 and 57 models, and were in the production line in 2007. This made it a bit less challenging for the Daimler engineers at the Classic to produce this car on the foundation of the existing Maybach versions. They kicked off the project by doing some modifications on the inside like switching its old seats with cooled and heated chairs, automatic AC, Bluetooth connectivity, front and rear facing cameras, minibar, DVD Player, fridge and lots more.

The Mercedes Benz 600 comes fitted with V8 6.3-liter engine with an output of 250 hp and mated to 4-speed automatic gearbox. The power windows, sunroof, power seats and other adjustable features on the model are controlled by the complex hydraulic system.
