The British automaker is celebrating the 50 years of SUV production in grand style. From what we gathered, Land Rover is introducing a special edition of Range Rover SUV for the 2021 model year.
The special edition dubbed Range Rover Fifty will take note of the year the first edition was manufactured. This means, only 1,970 examples will be created and sold worldwide. Obviously, we do not expect this special edition to offer similar features with the regular variants.
This latest Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) begins as Range Rover autobiography and buyers will be given the choice of 4 exterior colours such as Rosello Red, Carpathain Grey, Santorini Black and Aruba Silver. From what we learnt, most of the units produced will offer one of these 4 colour options. So, the Tuscan Blue, Bahama Gold and Davos White will be offered on very few units.
On its wheels, this special edition Fifty will feature 22-inch wheel design and host of custom-made badges (Fifty motif) on its outside look. The interior look will feature unique plaques with illuminated tread-plates.
Customers can get this luxury model in both long-wheelbase and standard versions. The automaker is also making available many engine options, which will include gasoline, diesel and plug-in hybrid engines. The powertrain will comprise a combination of 4-cylinder Ingenium 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with an electric motor of 85 kWh. The engine fitted on the Range Rover Fifty will generate combined outputs of 398 horsepower and 472 pound feet of torque.
The British automaker is yet to reveal the price and release date for this special model. We hope we will be getting to see this magnificent model very soon on sale.
