Obviously, nobody wants to be on the other side of the law, but this particular Honda Civic driver managed to get into big trouble in quite a spectacular and bizarre way.

So far, there isn’t much reported about this shocking incident but we understand it was taken from the patrol vehicle dash cam somewhere in the United States on the 28th of April in 2021.

Seconds after the clip resumes, the Civic can be spotted in the distance veering off the road and kicking up a plume of dirt. As the police car gets closer, the Honda once again veers off the road and this time, spins around 180-degrees and despite the officer’s best attempts to avoid being hit, the rear of the Honda slams right into the front of his car.

It is an absurd accident and for other motorists that were passing by, it might actually appear like the police officer had rear-ended the driver of the Civic.

In the moments after the crash, the officer makes a call to report the incident and then appears to exit their vehicle, obviously dumbfounded by what had just happened. We might not know if the driver was actually distracted or the VTEC just kicked in.
