One thing we could deduce from his high taste is probably from his exposure and youthfulness. As at the time he had his coronation in 2010, he was only 34 year-old, making him the youngest monarch in Lagos State. Oba Saheed Elegushi holds a Master Degree from the Manchester University, United Kingdom. Before he became the king, he once served as Senior Special Assistant in charge of Special Duties in the Lagos State government.

What makes him standout from other monarchs in the county is the fact that he loves collecting rare vintage cars as well. 1960 Cadillac Deville

This classic, pillarless 2-door hardtop American model is one of the remarkable cars you will find in his garage. This model was originally a trim level until it became a model separately manufactured by Cadillac. The 1949 Coupe Deville was the first model to get this name under the company’s flagship. The Deville lineup ended in 2005 with a full-sized sedan model. The last production model was slated to be the largest Cadillac Deville at the time it was built.

Rolls Royce Phantom VIII

No car gives you that sense of royalty more than the BMW-owned Rolls Royce itself. This white luxury Phantom VIII was acquired with a custom plate by His Royal Majesty in 2017. From report, this particular model cost the monarch N200 million. The full-sized Rolls Royce Phantom VIII is the Series II of the 7th generation of the lineup, manufactured by Rolls Royce Motor Cars.
