We anticipated a lot of activities this June, since the coronavirus lockdown has been eased up in many places. One of the exciting things to expect this month is the upcoming online auction of this limited track-only 2020 Porsche 935, to the luckiest buyer. Luck isn’t the only thing you need except you can meet up with the asking price. From what we learnt, the rare Porsche 935 would go from $1.42 million (₦550.25 million) to $1.53 million (₦592.87m).
Just last year February, a customer got this exact 935 in Monaco and we are yet to understand why he wanted to sell it not too long after purchase. From our assumption, it could be solely for profit, considering the rarity of the model. The company only manufactured 77 examples, and this particular model in Martini livery carries the 02 serial number.
We all know the pedigree of RM Sotheby’s when it comes to flipping superb cars for sales. So far, the auction house hasn’t provided all the details we want about this Porsche 935. The only information revealed to us is that this model, hasn’t been driven since purchase. It has been in the storage since after production.

In 2019, this 2020 Porsche 935 Martini Livery was unveiled in Laguna Seca Raceway, California, at the Rennsport Reunion VI. The model was created from using the platform of the present 911 GT2 RS. The track-only Martini Livery model comes powered by a 6-cylinder twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter engine with an output of 690 horsepower. Its engine is mated to 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The limited-slip electronically adjustable differential on the car powers its rear wheels.
The 2020 Porsche 935 weighs 1,380 kg, making it just lightweight. Apparently, this was possible since the components fitted onto this car’s exterior are made from carbon fiber reinforced polymer. Other jaw dropping Motorsport features on the car include fuel cell of 115 liters, tire-pressure monitoring, fire extinguishing system (electrically-triggered), 6-point safety harness and driver Recaro racing seat.
